About deep creek small bore rally

I want to share an update about the Deep Creek Small bore 2025

This is not the post or update I wanted to have to make about this event.

The end of last year event we took noticed of a lot of things that needed to change to be able to make this property work, and to have a successful larger event for 2025.  

Many things fell apart last year. Due to sponsor issues whether issues. The cohost of the deep creek small bore last year. His mother-in-law passed away a few days before the event started. That left a lot of things on my shoulder to figure out a property that I have never been to and host an event. During this time, I learned a lot about the property and the area without my cohost help.

We had a lot of amazing sponsors last year. No event can succeed without the Help of amazing sponsors. For 2025. I did not ask for sponsors, as of yet due to. I did not know if this event would be carried on or not. Because all of the logistical issues that needed to be taken care of to host a successful event.

In the process of planning the 2025 event. I came up with a schedule that I hope it will alleviate some of these logistical issues and make the event run smoother. Some of these logistical issues. We are trying to work around the owner of the property, not willing to help out in any way to conquer some of these issues. Some of the issues are. There is no restaurants within a 20 minute or so ride of the event property. Some of our logistical issues are basically food being served on the property during the event. The owner did does not seem to be interested in food trucks being on the property nor does he seem to be interested in opening up the lodge to serve food during the event. We also need to try to conquer some of the issues that people coming to this event are not all going to want to camp. Last year there is another property. Not very far from two wheels of such is that the owners seemed like she may be interested in hosting the event on her property. I will look into this when I am on site this year. Her property does include hook ups for RVs. She does have a large for food as well as two wheels of such as. She has A/C cabins, where two wheels of such as does not. The list goes on.

Two Wheels Of Suches is an amazing property in the middle of some of the most amazing motorcycle riding roads in the country. The Georgia Dragon is an amazing road to be on half the traffic as the tail of the Dragon in Tennessee North Carolina. Also one of our routes we do we called the fun run. It’s about a 2 Hour Loop through the mountains is another amazing ride on some amazing roads. I am doing all that I can at this point to try to be able to make this area work as secluded as the area kind of is.

This year I did not ask for sponsors like I stated above, and I don’t plan on asking for any for this year. I really need to work things out before having a full event.

I will be working to update the schedule changes and plans on the event website.

That being said, we are still going to have a semi event this year same dates. I do have a schedule that we will stick to to see how well that works for 2026 event. I am probably still going to have some field games like a bike show, slow races, scooter limbo. We will not be doing any kinds of raffle prizes from sponsors due to. We did not ask for sponsors for 2025. I do not want people to get let down when coming to the event this year because it’s not going to be a full on event. This year is definitely going to be meeting local riders and just having some fun riding around following a small schedule. This was definitely not the post I’ve been wanting to make about this event this close to the event dates. I have been trying to hold out to hopefully see if we can make this event fly and make everything work. I have been very close to wanting to cancel the event until 2026 but I still need to work out these logistical issues on site. Due to the amount of work and stress that goes into planning and hosting one of these events it is definitely not something that you want to put on if you don’t feel that it’s going to work or be successful with the logistical issues I need to fix. I really believe this event can be successful in this area close to Helen Georgia.
